WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

When you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive and store:

• Your display name and avatar URL from your OAuth provider
• Your OAuth provider and provider account ID

When you use the site, we also store:

• Your chosen nickname (if you set one)
• Game scores you submit to the leaderboard

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• Authentication — to identify you across sessions
• Leaderboards — to display your scores and nickname
• Profile — to show your avatar and display name

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

DATA STORAGE

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on our server. Sessions are managed via HTTP-only cookies that expire when you log out or after inactivity. No data is transferred to third parties.

ANONYMOUS USAGE DATA

We collect anonymous page view and gameplay statistics to understand which games are popular and how the site is used. This data includes:

• Page visited and event type (page view or game played)
• A random session identifier stored in sessionStorage (not linked to your identity)
• Device type (mobile or desktop)
• Game scores when a game ends

This data is not linked to your account unless you are logged in, and is never shared with third parties.

LOCAL STORAGE

Games use your browser's localStorage to save personal high scores locally. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.

COOKIES

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or any third-party cookies.

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your scores and nickname are publicly visible on leaderboards.

DATA DELETION

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please open an issue on our GitHub repository or contact the site administrator. We will process deletion requests promptly.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
